What we’re looking for
About the Role:
As a PAN EU Category Manager at Autodoc, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business. You will be responsible for managing a specific category, developing and implementing strategic plans, optimizing product assortment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Your expertise in category management, market analysis, and customer insights will be essential in identifying growth opportunities and maximizing profitability.
A successful candidate for this high impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, demonstrate strong ownership and commitment, have proven leadership experience in driving cross functional projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure reliable supply, quality of products, and competitive pricing. Monitor supplier performance and initiate improvement actions when necessary.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including pricing, operations, marketing, and finance, to align category strategies and ensure effective execution of plans.
3. Promotions and Marketing: Work closely with marketing teams to develop effective promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and product launches. Provide input on messaging, target audience, and promotional channels to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
4. Assortment Planning and Optimization: Analyze customer demand patterns, sales data, and market trends to determine the optimal product assortment within the category. Continuously evaluate and update the assortment to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
5. Customer Experience: Own Item data quality for the category assigned, drive improvements in product cards for customers, by ensuring A+ content by working with manufacturers.
6. P&L Ownership: Identify and execute initiatives to achieve top line and profitability targets for the category PAN EU
Qualifications (Essential)
● Graduate or equivalent experience in business
● An understanding of and passion for Automotive industry; 5+ years work in Automotive or automotive aftermarket commercial role
● Ability to convey complex topics in simple terms
● Ownership – thinks like an owner
● Experience in Business, category management, buying or selling
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
● Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
● Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Masters or Postgraduate degree in business management
Experience (ideal or minimum experience required for role – certifications, languages, education & years)
● 5+ years working in a vendor management or P/L ownership role preferred
● 3+ years in Automotive or Automotive spare parts
● Language skills: Polish(Fluent), English(Fluent) fluency in additional European languages is preferable
