What we’re looking for

Responsibilities

• Implement business logic for recommendation system endpoints.

• Write and maintain autotests to ensure code quality (unit, integration, functional, business logic tests, etc)

• Work with databases: write SQL queries, modeling storage schemas, create custom aggregated data marts.

• Conduct technical API testing, including performance testing.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD processes and ensure smooth pipeline integration, maintaining monitoring tools like 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, and translate business requirements into effective technical implementations

Requirements

• Experience in programming on Python 3+ years

• Strong working knowledge in developing Restful web services and Micro Services using Python

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in Python.

• Understanding of algorithms and data structures. 

• Knowledge of design patterns. 

• Experience with asynchronous and parallel programming methods.

• Familiarity with data processing frameworks (like Pandas, Polars etc) will be a plus

• Proficient in SQL (writing sophisticated queries, understanding optimization techniques)  and database management

• Knowledge of methodologies and frameworks for writing autotests

• Understanding of methodologies and frameworks for API performance testing (like Locust)

• Experience with automated pipelines such as Vertex Pipeline, Airflow DAGs or similar

• Experience with Docker

• Familiarity with CI/CD (including Gitlab CI/CD) processes and tools

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, New Relic, Victoria Metrics or similar

• Experience with Google Cloud Computing Services will be a plus.

• Good communication skills, problem solving and business oriented mindset.
