What we’re looking for
As the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Controlling, you will serve as a pivotal strategic partner to the Supply Chain and Financial Controlling teams at AUTODOC. In this role, you will play a critical part in aligning operational performance with financial objectives, acting as the bridge between operations and finance. Collaborating closely with the VP of Supply Chain, you will drive data-informed decision-making, optimize financial planning and budgeting processes, and enhance expense management. Your leadership will be key in improving operational efficiency, ensuring financial discipline, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Operations
Collaborate with the supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for supply chain operations, including warehousing, 3PL, transportation, infrastructure, and related costs.
Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and factor analysis to support decision-making.
Conduct cost control and labor planning for the entire supply chain network.
Operational Monitoring and Performance
Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, such as cost per shipment, inventory holding costs, delivery timelines, and warehouse utilization, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Lead the creation of performance dashboards and ensure timely reporting of financial metrics.
Identify cost-saving opportunities across supply chain operations without compromising service levels.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Serve as the primary operational finance partner for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with the finance department’s objectives.
Work with the finance team to create seamless bridges between operational data and financial statements.
Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements for supply chain expenditures and contracts.
Process Optimization
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance financial oversight in supply chain operations.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing supply chain cost structures and performance metrics.
Oversee system integrations for data collection, ensuring accuracy and automation where possible.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 7-9 years of experience in supply chain finance, operations finance, or a similar role in a complex, high-volume supply chain environment.
Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and operational cost control.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with experience in factor analysis and bridge creation.
Knowledge of supply chain processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and 3PL models
