Lead Professional Supply Planning (m/f/d)

What we’re looking for

As a Lead Professional Supply Planning you will lead critical initiatives in supply chain risk analysis and processes optimization. You will be responsible for setting and controlling supply chain parameters, ensuring target inventory availability and analyzing deviations. You will actively participate in strategic and operational planning and lead related projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct supply chain risk and reliability analyses for product areas
  • Generate suggestions and lead implementations for improvements and optimization of supply chain processes and parameters
  • Control global and local supply chain parameters and set target inventory availability
  • Calculate and argue ideas for global changes in supply chain design
  • Control deviations from set target inventory levels
  • Analyze root causes of SKUs in out-of-stock and overstock and estimate losses in financial amounts
  • Coordinate the development of predictive models: inventory movements, supply chain loads
  • Model the behavior of different supply chain scenarios (what if), estimate the impact on key metrics
  • Directly participate in strategic and operational planning of departmental and cross-functional team activities
  • Participate in S&OP process and coordinate the resources of the department
  • Lead projects to improve supply chain performance in collaboration with other departments
  • Participate in process of on-going improvement for business unit
  • Participate in coordination and development of junior and middle specialists

Requirements:

  • Completed higher education, preferably majoring in mathematics, economics, logistics or related field
  • Relevant working experience in Supply Chain Planning for 5-7 years (transportation company, distribution, retail or manufacturing)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning methods and their applicability limits: min-max, safety stock, stock buffer, demand driven, and others
  • Expertise in Data Management – demonstrated proficiency in processing and normalizing average data sets (100.000+ rows)
  • Inventory management prowess - experience in managing a wide pool SKUs (10.000+).
  • Experience in ongoing improving supply chains and related processes. POOGI, Kaizen tree
  • Experience in educating suppliers to create value for customers by streamlining processes in the value chain
  • Experience in supply chain calculation and design (warehouses and transit zones), considering the necessary resources
  • Familiarity with supply chains with long lead times (4+)
  • Experience in designing and participation in S&OP process.
  • Knowledge of the Lean, TOC or 6 Sigma
  • Knowledge of Lean Management: identify and reduce or eliminate waste in all areas of a supply chain
  • Good knowledge of SCOR model and Supply chain synchronization
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel: LookUp, Pivot tables, Power Query.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Adaptability, flexibility and problem-solving skills
  • Language skills: Russian = fluent, English = B1+
     

Preferred, but not required:

  • Training and certification from international supply chain management and optimization training organizations: TOCICO, DDI, ISM, MIT and others
  • Supply chain industry association membership: APICS, TOCICO, ISM, SCC and others
  • Yellow belt (and higher) of Lean & 6Sigma
  • Experience with working across different cultures and time zones
