Customer Researcher

Product Researcher conducts comprehensive research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of customer requirements and define product features that deliver customer value. Their main objective is to ensure that the product aligns with customer needs, achieves market fit, and drives business growth. Product Researcher's insights inform the product development process and contribute to the success of the overall product strategy.

What we’re looking for

Responsibilities:

  • Performs the process of research, from task accept until the delivery of final results:
    - participation in sociological research (qualitative and quantitative);
    - quantitative research skills using SPSS or similar statistics tools 
    - carrying out planned sociological, customer & user experiences researches;
    - analysis of user metrics, customer behavior and pain points;
    - analyzing the CX metrics of NPS, CES, and Churn Rate;
    - analysis and building of personas and customer portraits;
    - сonducting research for the construction of CJM
    - independent proposal of conclusions and recommendations;
    - independent initiation & methodical design of research;
  • Uncovering user behaviors, needs, and motivations in order to design products and services that provide value is the crux of user experience research.
  • Helps to provide actionable and meaningful data-driven insights that represent the voice of multiple users.


Required Experience:

  • Solid understanding of product research methodologies and tools.
  • 1–3 years of experience in product research or related fields.
  • Experience with conducting user research studies, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Ability to synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Experience with online collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Meets, Jira, Confluence, Google Drive)
  • Uses spreadsheets tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Familiar with user research principles, such as recruitment, screening, and moderation
  • Assist in executing research studies and collecting data through various research methods such as surveys and interviews.
  • Familiar with secondary research principles, such as literature review, market analysis, and competitor analysis
  • Conducts СX research to understand the target audience, competitors, and market trends

Leadership:

  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members and contributes to brainstorming sessions.
  • Completes assigned tasks with guidance and direction from more senior team members.
  • Develops foundational knowledge in product research methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to listen and take into account the views of other team members and users

Functional:

  • Uses analytics and metrics to measure product success
  • Conducts СX research for identifying user needs
  • Learning about user needs, behaviours, and attitudes through user research and secondary research
  • Conductions and analyses qualitative and quantitative user research

Cross-Functional:

  • Analyses feedback from users and the team to improve the product
  • Collect ongoing feedback and interaction with customers to get feedback on the use of the product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product managers and product designers, to identify research needs and objectives
