What we’re looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Logistics Analyst. As a Logistics Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics solutions to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and overall profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze various types of logistics data.

  • Maintain database(s) of logistics information.

  • Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization through data evaluation.

  • Make recommendations based on findings and analysis.

  • Ensure logistics costs are monitored, managed, and under control.

  • Collaborate with managers or stakeholders to determine effective solutions.

  • Set up and provide regular reports and data related to specific areas of the logistics process.

  • Track logistics trends and use information to recommend changes.

  • Utilize knowledge and research methods to benchmark logistics activities and drive best practice results.

  • Review logistics processes and procedures, identifying, recommending, and implementing improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs.

  • Use analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes.

  • Monitor warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity.

  • Evaluate logistics methods to reduce environmental impact.

  • Advise others on logistics topics.

  • Prepare operational reports.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

  • Analyze industry trends.

  • Calculate specific material, equipment, or labor requirements for production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience in an analytical role, preferably in supply chain or logistics.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on root cause analysis.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced knowledge of English for free verbal and written conversation.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain analytics, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing environment.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of various manufacturing and automotive processes and components, with a solid understanding of logistics processes and best practices.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Power BI and Analysis Systems.

  • Comfortable translating loosely defined business questions into clearly defined technical/data/report specifications.

  • Strong in data crunching and analysis.
