What we’re looking for

Responsibilities:

Product Compliance:

  • Product Testing: Own and develop product quality assurance system for all trade goods and our private brands, monitoring adherence to automotive industry standards, supplier specifications and condition.

  • Compliance: Ensure product labeling and packaging comply with regulatory and company standards.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Implement robust reporting and documentation systems for quality assurance processes.

  • Non-Compliance Management: Define and oversee processes for managing non-compliant products at all stages, including product recalls.

  • Supplier Evaluation: Implement and monitor a comprehensive supplier evaluation system.

  • Escalations: Drive escalations in collaboration with Category Management and partner with the global Product Compliance team.

  • External Partnerships: Work with external partners and laboratories for product testing as needed.

Process & Inventory Control:

  • Lead & develop local Quality teams to 

  • Define process quality standards in close cooperation with our Process SMEs (Subject Matter experts)

  • Process Audits: Conduct audits of local processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards related to handling, storage and packaging

  • Dimensioning and Weighing: Own and audit the cubi-scan process and its outcomes.

  • Inventory Accuracy: Monitor and improve inventory accuracy to reduce defects in picking processes  and ensure financial accounting accuracy.

  • Inventory Count Initiative: Collaborate with Finance & Legal to transition from key date inventory counts to a rolling inventory count process.

  • Customer Complaints Analysis: Analyze customer service complaints to identify recurring defects and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Quality Strategy:

  • Strategy Development: Define and drive the company’s quality strategy to align with business goals.

  • Management System Design: Design and implement a quality management system that meets the requirements for external certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

  • Reporting and Reviews: Design and provide quality reports, and lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure focus on quality metrics.

  • Representation: Represent the company’s management in front of customers and suppliers in all matters related to quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality assurance and product compliance within e-commerce, warehousing, or a related industry.

  • Proven track record of implementing quality management systems and achieving external certifications.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience with supplier evaluation and external partner management.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to product compliance and quality assurance.

  • Business fluency in English, additional languages are an advantage
