What we’re looking for
The AUTODOC Pro Business Development Manager is responsible for managing and driving the performance of the Business Development Representative (BDR) team. This role focuses on ensuring excellence in prospecting strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and contributing to the evolution of the AUTODOC-Pro concept while supporting the subsidiary's overall performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management
Lead and manage a team of 8–10 BDRs, ensuring their growth and success.
Oversee recruitment processes and support onboarding for new team members.
Identify training needs, propose development plans, and maintain high team morale.
Coordinate schedules and manage team logistics to ensure smooth operations.
2. Performance and Development
Design and deliver training modules to boost prospecting skills and knowledge.
Conduct biweekly results meetings and monthly one-on-one sessions to support team goals.
Host quarterly training sessions to develop new strategies and techniques.
Monitor performance data, analyze metrics, and implement improvement strategies.
3. Concept Development and Innovation
Optimize prospecting tools, materials, and processes for better outcomes.
Collaborate with central teams to design promotions and improve sales tools.
Gather field feedback and drive enhancements in CRM and extranet functionalities.
Working Conditions
Frequent travel, including several overnight stays in hotels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred) / certifications in sales strategies or methodologies / or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of experience in business development within the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of the Italian automotive aftermarket.
Proven experience managing business development or sales teams.
Strong analytical skills for performance tracking and improvement planning.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills in Italian and English, to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience designing and delivering training programs.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
Ability to foster a positive team culture and ensure sustained motivation.
Strong understanding of prospecting strategies and tools.
