What we’re looking for
Responsibilities
Shape and implement the analytics strategy for Autodoc’s Private Brands, aligning with business strategy and goals, and driving measurable outcomes such as revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Oversee the design, development, and lifecycle management of Advanced Analytics & AI solutions and data governance frameworks, ensuring the integrity and relevance of business metrics.
Deliver strategic and operational insights, providing focused advisory for key projects and business leaders.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Define, develop, and govern Autodoc’s Private Brands KPI framework, ensuring the consistency and reliability of key business metrics.
Champion the adoption of self-service analytics capabilities across Autodoc, ensuring effective identification of power users, training, governance, and lifecycle management.
Partner cross-functionally with senior leadership and key stakeholders to influence business strategy, promote analytics adoption, and lead change management initiatives.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI, Analytics, or Data Science, with a strong focus on driving business strategy and delivering impactful insights.
Proven leadership in managing teams, mentoring high-performing analysts and engineers, and fostering talent development.
Exceptional analytical and delivery skills, with a track record of translating complex data into strategic decisions and driving measurable business outcomes.
Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing change initiatives across the organization.
Expert proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with advanced data modeling, machine learning, or AI techniques.
Experience with Data Mesh principles and Data as a Product frameworks.
Proficiency with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau) and a deep understanding of how to leverage them for business impact.
Fluent in English (C1 level or equivalent).
STEM background or equivalent practical experience, with a demonstrated record of thought leadership and contributing to the broader data community.
