What we’re looking for
The Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our packaging and products. This position involves active communication with suppliers, managing complaints, and ensuring that all packaging adjustments meet our company's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Complaint Management:
- Act as the primary contact for the "packaging adjustment" channel, aiming to resolve issues effectively and diplomatically.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers for resolving discrepancies, aiming for outcomes that satisfy both parties.
2. Supplier Coordination:
- Track and verify compliance from suppliers to ensure all agreements, particularly concerning packaging and product quality, are upheld in future orders.
3. Documentation and Analysis:
- Prepare comprehensive complaints and reports with precise details, including photographic evidence and cost implications, to document any quality deviations.
4. Competitive Analysis:
- Keep an eye on competitors’ packaging strategies and integrate these insights by setting relevant tasks for the warehouse team.
5. Product Sampling and Requests:
- Collaborate with engineers to send sample requests to suppliers, ensuring that all specifications are met.
6. Technical Support:
- Offer technical assistance and recommend process improvements for quality control to suppliers.
- Coordinate the sampling process and oversee the delivery for laboratory testing to ensure sample integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in negotiating and building relationships with contractors or suppliers.
- Quick Learner: Ability to quickly absorb new information and conduct thorough research.
- Cross-Functional Skills: Experience in collaborating with various teams to enhance product management.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using PCs and office software, notably Excel and Google Sheets, along with experience with Jira.
- Language Skills: both Russian and English, with at least a B2 level proficiency.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Office Location: The position will be based at our office located on Kablowa 1, Szczecin
