Join us and become part of our success story! To strengthen our Transport & Customs Department in Szczecin/Poland, we are looking for a Dangerous Goods Officer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

What we’re looking for

Responsibilities:

  • Advising on and monitoring compliance with the regulations on the storage of hazardous substances (GefStoffV) and the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail, sea and air.

  • Assumption of the tasks and duties of a dangerous goods officer (m/f/d) according to the dangerous goods safety officer ordinance

  • Monitoring compliance with legal and internal requirements for handling hazardous substances and goods for all European locations

  • Advising on handling dangerous goods and substances for all European locations

  • Process optimisation and support during the introduction of new regulations

  • Guaranteeing correct storage and internal and external transports

  • Providing instruction and training

  • Written documentation of advisory activities and incidents in the area of hazardous substances and goods

  • Preparation of the annual report and retention of all required documents for 5 years

Requirements :

  • Successfully completed qualification as a dangerous goods officer (m/f/d)

  • Very strong communication skills and understanding of logistical operational and organisational contexts

  • An independent and structured way of working

  • Good MS Office skills

  • Business proficiency in Polish and English, additional language skills (preferably German or Russian) would be advantageous

  • Class B driving licence and willingness to travel for occasional business trips
