What we’re looking for

As the Senior Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the deployment and oversight of security technologies across our facilities. You will provide advice and support in the planning and implementation of new solutions within the security domain.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implementing and managing security technologies across AUTODOC's European facilities, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection

  • Ensuring seamless integration of systems into a central security platform aligned with IT infrastructure and evolving company standards

  • Collaborating with external vendors and integrators to select and deploy optimal security solutions

  • Managing relationships with security service providers (e.g., guarding companies), including monitoring SLAs, conducting joint site checks, and supporting contract negotiations

  • Overseeing contracts, project timelines, budgets, and vendor performance

  • Coordinating with IT, Operations, and Facilities teams to align security initiatives with business goals

  • Providing expert support for IT security projects, installations, and integrations

  • Ensuring compliance with regional regulations and tailoring security systems to local operational needs

  • Developing and maintaining a site-level security inspection program

  • Conducting site visits for audits, installations, and issue resolution

  • Maintaining systems through regular diagnostics and updates, addressing hardware and software issues as needed

  • Staying current with emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar technical security role, ideally in a logistics or distribution environment

  • Bachelor's degree in a security-related or technical field will be an asset

  • Training or certification in physical security standards (e.g., TAPA FSR/PSR) will be a strong advantage

  • Experience with international security operations, including regulatory and cultural factors

  • Familiarity with operational site security management, ideally within a warehouse or industrial environment

  • Proficiency in security system platforms such as Genetec or similar (e.g., Milestone, Avigilon, or Honeywell)

  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and system integration best practices

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.  

  • Strong skills in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and performance management skills

  • Proven ability to coach and instruct others in physical security procedures

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Fluency in English and Polish language

  • Willingness to travel to sites regularly
