What we’re looking for
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for all financial aspects of the Marketplace, aligning with the overall business objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including finance, legal, operations, and customer support teams, to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain a well-defined product backlog for financial features, ensuring clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.
Sprint Execution: Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of financial features.
Market & User Research: Continuously monitor the market, analyze competitor offerings, and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the financial aspects of the platform.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial features, analyze performance data, and identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all financial features and processes comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, working closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks.
Requirements
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong focus on financial products or features.
Solid understanding of online marketplaces and their financial flows (e.g., payments, payouts, commissions, invoicing).
Basic: Understanding of payment processing principles. Familiarity with financial reporting basics.
Intermediate: Experience with defining user stories and acceptance criteria. Ability to prioritize product backlog items effectively.
Good: Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
Strong: Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy. Proven track record of successfully delivering financial products or features.
Excellent: Deep understanding of marketplace financial ecosystems and best practices. Ability to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders at all levels
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Fluency in English, Russian as a plus.
