What we’re looking for
Responsibilities
To date, AUTODOC has been using and developing exclusively an inhouse WMS. With the growth of the business, volume and geography wise, the level of complexity of the warehouse processes grew and a strategic decision has been taken to implement a leading market WMS. In connection with supporting of the current WMS, this requires adoption of the selected market WMS in terms of operational processes and functional design.
The Product Owner WMS is expected to drive the agenda of the WMS Product as per follows:
Defining and Prioritizing the backlog: The Product Owner works with stakeholders to decompose the defined by Product Manager roadmap, breaking it down on lower level operational process related requirements that are translated into the executable and deliverable incremental development. He studies the changes from the perspective of the AS-IS process → TO BE process.
Maintaining the Product Backlog: The Product Owner owns the product backlog, keeping it up-to-date, organized, prioritized, and in sync with the product roadmap.
Prioritizing Features: The product owner prioritizes the features and user stories in the backlog based on business value, strategy goals, and other factors.
Collaborating with the Development Team: The Product Owner works closely with the development team to answer questions, provide clarification, and make decisions about the user stories.
Release Planning: The Product Owner is involved in release planning. He works with the team to create a roadmap for product development.
Stakeholder Communication: The Product Owner acts as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team. They gather feedback and communicate the project's progress to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: The Product Owner participates in sprint reviews and retrospectives to gather feedback on the product and the development process and make improvements for future sprints.
Training and Support:
Develop training materials and provide support to warehouse teams and other users to ensure effective system utilization.
Coordinate with vendors for timely resolution of support tickets and system issues.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Warehouse Super User or Product Owner in Supply Chain / Logistics industry with focus on WMS.
Experience in working with a market leading WMS (JDA, Manh, Reply), practical knowledge of LEA Reply WMS is a plus.
Working in e-commerce environment with focus on supply chain, warehouse operations.
Being part of light Warehouse Automation projects (pick-by-light, conveyors, Goods-to-Person solutions) is a plus.
Experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders -- technical team members, product users, project organizations.
