AUTODOC introduces all-digital strategy for its workshop business
New AUTODOC PRO structure will help the company scale while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Reorganisation of B2B segment mirrors a highly dynamic shift from offline to online purchases
- Optimisation of workflows, structures and processes through an all-digital service model
- Focus on competitive pricing, expansive product range and flexible delivery options
- Discontinuation of field support via service agents in Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands
- Patrick Diepenhorst confirmed as Director AUTODOC PRO Europe
Berlin, 15 June 2026 – Autodoc SE, Europe’s leading online retailer of automotive spare parts and accessories, is reorganising its B2B division, transitioning AUTODOC PRO to a fully digital operating model. Following a comprehensive review of the “phygital” concept — which combined a digital platform with in-person support through local service agents — the company is readjusting its approach to unlock greater efficiency, economic sustainability and scalability. By transitioning to a digital-first model, AUTODOC will meet evolving customer expectations and maintain its strict quality standards.
“We are a digital-first company and this strategic realignment reflects the highly dynamic shift from offline to online purchasing in the B2B sector,” says Dmitri Zadorojnii, CEO of AUTODOC. “By focusing entirely on our digital capabilities, we ensure sustainable growth while delivering maximum efficiency and the best possible service for our professional customers.”
The current economic environment in Germany and Europe required an objective reassessment of AUTODOC PRO’s operational structure. “To reinforce AUTODOC PRO as a core pillar of our business, we have decided to streamline our workflows, structures and processes by moving to digital customer engagement,” says Patrick Diepenhorst, who leads AUTODOC PRO in Europe. Diepenhorst joined the company in 2023 and has been the Managing Director for AUTODOC PRO in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2023 and 2024, respectively. “While this is the necessary strategic path forward, it is a heavy decision because of the impact on our people. Channelling our resources directly into building a superior digital experience – together with our competitive pricing, expansive product range and flexible delivery options – will continue to provide a best-in-class offer on the independent automotive aftermarket.”
AUTODOC PRO continues to serve all existing markets
AUTODOC PRO continues to serve professional customers in all its current operating markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. Under the new all-digital model implemented in Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands, the previous system of geographically restricted and local field agents will be discontinued. Instead, all workshop customers will have equal access to AUTODOC PRO’s full range of digital services, regardless of location.
“This approach allows us to not only maintain our high standard of customer service, but also to further expand our presence in areas where the physical rollout was not yet complete. With our existing Business Development Teams, we can actively engage with prospects in untapped regions across Germany, Austria and Italy, introducing them to the value of our offering,” says Diepenhorst. “With its competitive pricing and extensive assortment, AUTODOC PRO continues to offer a compelling proposition that delivers significant cost savings for garages.”
Digital returns and continued personal support
Regarding product returns, AUTODOC is replacing its previous collection-based process with a fully digital return system, which will be backed up by a dedicated parcel service. Combined with the platform’s extensive product range and best-in-class pricing, this ensures a seamless experience for professional customers. Personal support remains available through the Business Development Team and dedicated Account Managers assigned to each customer and country. The enhanced digital platform enables customers to rely on AUTODOC PRO as their trusted partner.
Operating from a position of financial strength
AUTODOC is operating from a position of strength, both operationally and financially – as evidenced not least by the first-quarter figures. B2B sales revenue rose from €30.5 million in Q1 2025 to €42.4 million in the first quarter of 2026. This growth was driven by the optimisation of AUTODOC PRO, particularly through local drop-shipping solutions that enabled faster delivery times, as well as the expanded rollout into Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands compared to 2025.
“2026 will be a year that will see AUTODOC emerge leaner and structurally stronger,” says CFO Lennart Schmidt, adding: “For AUTODOC as a company, this reorganisation will ensure a sustainable balance between growth and profitability.”
AUTODOC PRO – a meaningful force in the B2B market
AUTODOC PRO first launched in November 2022 in France. Since then, the expansion continued into Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, supported by local drop-shipping strategies to ensure rapid delivery. ”AUTODOC PRO has firmly established itself as a meaningful force in the B2B market. In France, more than 50% of independent garages are already connected to the platform,” says Dmitri Zadorojnii. He adds: “We remain the only digital player to offer a seamless return experience for repairers. Our focus now is entirely on satisfying, convincing and expanding our relationship with professional customers across Europe under a highly efficient structure.”
