What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Quality Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the quality of warehouse processes, leading the quality team, implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy, and managing inventory and product quality analysis. The role will also involve improving customer experience, ensuring compliance with quality standards and managing the budget for quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the quality team.
- Oversee all quality processes in the warehouse to ensure products meet established specifications before leaving the distribution center.
- Coordinate inventory processes and ensure inventory accuracy by identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze product quality data, manage returns and complaints, and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize processes, eliminate defects, and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality standards across the warehouse and achieve quality goals as per established objectives.
- Identify and assess quality risks and develop effective risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with international quality standards.
- Manage the quality budget and ensure actions are executed within allocated resources.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality management in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- At least 1 year of experience managing a team (including recruitment, performance evaluations, and coaching).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends related to quality.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and quality-related software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing projects and processes effectively.
