What we’re looking for
On this role you will lead and manage projects within the organization. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects that enhance the company's security posture, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize security operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead cross-functional teams to implement security controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance programs across the organization.
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify security requirements, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies for various projects and initiatives.
Manage the implementation of security tools and technologies, overseeing vendor relationships and ensuring successful integration with existing systems.
Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) throughout project lifecycles.
Facilitate continuous improvement of security processes and procedures, incorporating lessons learned from completed projects into future initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on information security or GRC projects
Strong knowledge of information security principles, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements
Excellent understanding of security technologies and tools
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent - nice to have
