What we’re looking for

The Delivery Management will be delivering software projects in accordance with the product backlog, ensuring that they meet the specified requirements, are completed on time, and are within budget. Their responsibilities encompass a range of activities, from projects and software delivery schedule planning, to team of software development management, stakeholder communication and coordination of quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Converting the product backlog into a software development schedule (pipeline) according to the available capacity, given priorities, dependencies, and estimations (including HLE).
  • Monitor development progress, ensuring adherence to the schedule and making adjustments as needed.
  • Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Resource Management

  • Estimate and allocate resources effectively to meet project / backlog requirements.
  • Forecast resource needs and manage the recruitment process for new team members.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure a comprehensive software testing process is in place through coordination with the QA team.
  • Oversee testing processes and ensure that all critical defects, identified during the testing phase, are resolved before deployment to production environments.
  • Implement and maintain processes for continuous improvement in software delivery.

Release Management

  • Plan and oversee software deployment in accordance with the active release management guidelines, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
  • Ensure adequate post-delivery support and maintenance, addressing any issues that arise after release.

Collaboration

  • Facilitate team collaboration and communication.
  • Coaches development team members in self-management, facilitation  of the environment for improvement.

Process and Methodology

  • Ensure flexibility and responsiveness of development process through implementing and supporting agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Supports product owners in finding and adjusting techniques for effective product backlog management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in software development and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Knowledge of programming languages, software development tools, and platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Knowledge of content management tools (Atlassian Confluence)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Language skills: English - intermediate or higher level proficiency
