What we’re looking for
Reporting to the Head of Legal Operations, you are responsible for complying with and monitoring all legal and regulatory requirements relating to product conformity from a legal perspective.
Job Responsibilities
Monitoring EU legislation, informing the company about necessary changes tailored to the company and supporting the implementation of these requirements from a legal perspective in cooperation with the relevant business products.
Corresponding with, organizing and coordinating country inquiries, e.g. in connection with the market launch of new, innovative products or the implementation of European law
Determining legal requirements for the development, manufacture, safety and marketing of products
Contact person for the company in all matters of legal product conformity.
Ensure the establishment and continuous development of a product compliance management system and development of product compliance processes in close cooperation with your internal stakeholders to ensure that our products comply with current legal requirements at all times
Conducting internal training to ensure that all employees are informed about the relevant legal requirements.
Job Requirements
Completed studies in business law or law (second state examination an advantage) or Master of Laws (LL.M.)
2 years’ experience in the application of legal and regulatory requirements for compliance with product safety and marketability, ability to prepare risk assessments and strong project management skills an advantage.
Interest in technical issues
Willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of law
Strong procedural and analytical thinking skills and the ability to structure, analyze and summarize complex issues in a targeted manner
Hands-on mentality and ability to work in a team, understanding and enthusiasm for economic contexts
Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills
Very good written and spoken German (C1) and English (C1), further language skills, especially Russian, an advantage
