Job Description

Responsibilities

Data Products Operations

  • Coordinate operational tasks for all data products, ensuring timely execution and delivery.

  • Collaborate with product managers to define project timelines, track progress, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Serve as a liaison between data product teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including product specifications, user guides, and process documentation.

  • Conduct business analysis to identify and document user requirements, use cases, and workflows.

  • Organize and facilitate meetings, reviews, and workshops related to data product development and deployment.

  • Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates on the progress of data products.

  • Assist with the implementation of product enhancements, and managing communications and updates.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and data governance standards.


Departmental Support

  • Manage schedules, appointments, and departmental communications to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Maintain effective filing and organizational systems for the department.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and other administrative tasks as needed for the department’s leadership.

  • Assist in organizing and prioritizing tasks and responsibilities to support overall department efficiency.

  • Perform ad hoc administrative and operational tasks to support overall department efficiency.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a coordination role involving business analysis, technical writing, or project administration.

  • Experience in supporting data product development or data management projects is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing the operational aspects of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in providing administrative support within a business or technical environment is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Experience with business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation.

  • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and understandable documentation.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data products, data management, and analytics platforms.

  • Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.

  • Experience in working in agile environments and using agile tools like Jira or Trello.

  • Experience in the e-commerce industry or similar data-driven environments.
