What we’re looking for
As a Distribution Network Design (Senior) Manager at AUTODOC, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement an optimized supply chain network strategy aligned with our business objectives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute an efficient supply chain network, ensuring it meets customer demands while minimizing costs and risks.
Responsibilities
Analyze current supply chain infrastructure, including distribution centers, transportation routes, and inventory locations, evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency, develop and implement a future-state network design.
Utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to analyze various scenarios, such as changing customer demand patterns or new market entry
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and identify opportunities to reduce them through network optimization, consolidation, or outsourcing.
Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain network, such as single points of failure, geopolitical instability, or natural disasters.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, procurement, sales, and finance, to understand their requirements and incorporate them into the network design.
Engage with external partners, to ensure alignment and coordination in executing the supply chain network strategy.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate the performance of the supply chain network.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, foster innovation, incorporate sustainability, and set audacious goals for the supply chain network.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree will be a plus).
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Network Design and Optimization.
3+ years of experience leading change management and efficiencies in an industry with large logistics spend, across multiple complex distribution channels.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Ability to work with ambiguity and shifting operational priorities in a fast-paced and changing project environment.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver cross-functional projects (leadership experience in such environment will be a plus).
Excellent written and verbal English skills to successfully communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization (Russian skills/multilingual proficiency will be a plus).
Nice to have
Proficiency in supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) and optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, IBM ILOG CPLEX).
Previous experience in the automotive or e-commerce industry.
