QA Engineer Web Automation

What we’re looking for
Responsibilities:
- Participation in the development process and ensuring early feedback on the developed features through consistent test automation
- Proactive contribution to our automation processes, applying industry best practices and leading continuous improvements
- Help streamline quality processes with special focus on the release process and release time
- Documentation, analysis and evaluation of test results as well as creation and presentation of test reports
Qualifications:
- Experience 3+ years in an QA Automation role (with Java)
- Automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG
- Understanding of client-server architecture
- Understanding of network architecture: HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, TCP/IP, DNS
- Experience with any relational database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, and any other
- Strong theoretical knowledge base
- Expertise with automation frameworks for testing web/backend applications
- Proven experience in identifying, reporting, and managing defects and issues within an automated testing environment
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, and/or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders
- Language skills - English B1/B2
Will be as a plus:
- Programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in identifying, reporting, and managing defects and issues
- Proven experience in testing of HTTP/gRPC API
- Understanding of testing layers and difference between them
- Experience with TestRail or any similar tools
- Experience with Swagger, Postman, or similar
- Knowledge of SQL and database management system
