What we’re looking for

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the engineering lead and software architect in Autodoc Pro to deliver efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems that drive complex web applications with independent release cycles

  • Work in the implementation and maintenance of front-end applications and core libraries to support the B2B unit using React, Typescript and NextJS

  • Promote the use of reusable components and front-end libraries

  • Ensure a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the teams to continually test, measure, and iterate on the results of their work

  • Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to the team

  • Contribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines around the team and domain

  • Drive the team from a technical perspective, keeping yourself current with new technologies, in alignment with Autodoc’s technical strategy

  • Collaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams within Autodoc to understand the business context and create scalable solutions


Requirements

  • 7 years+ of experience as a front-end software developer (primarily React.js)

  • Experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale software applications - OOP and SOLID principles

  • High-quality organizational skills

  • Technical mindset with great attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Good knowledge of core JavaScript (ES6+), React, HTML5 and CSS3

  • Understanding and practical experience of REST API

  • Knowledge of modern Web APIs

  • Experience in creating unit tests & e2e tests

  • Be familiar with linters, semantic code/webpack

  • Experience using Agile

  • English intermediate (B1)
