What we’re looking for
Responsibilities
Component Decoupling:
Analyze the existing PHP monolith to identify SEO-related components.
Design and implement strategies to decouple these components while ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.
Refactor and rewrite PHP components in Go, creating independent, efficient microservices.
Development and Integration:
Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Go microservices.
Integrate new Go-based services with existing systems.
Ensure seamless data flow and communication between decoupled components and the remaining monolith.
Optimization and Performance:
Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conduct performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation of various components.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Work closely with the development team, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
Document the architecture, design, and implementation details.
Maintenance and Support:
Monitor and maintain the health of new services post-deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the decoupled components.
Continuously improve code quality, documentation, and processes.
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of professional experience in software development (PHP/GO).
Proven experience in decoupling monolithic applications.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
Experience in refactoring and migrating large-scale applications.
Previous work on data generation and handling large data sets.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is preferred.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.
