What we’re looking for
The Senior Manager PMO – Supply Chain will work directly with the VP of Supply Chain to coordinate key projects and drive strategic initiatives across warehousing, transportation, operations, and infrastructure. Acting as a sparring partner for supply chain directors, this role will provide guidance, challenge ideas, and support decision-making on critical issues. The role will also be responsible for developing and delivering training to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. By working closely with teams across Operations, Infrastructure, Transportation, HSE, Security, and Excellence, this role is critical to driving successful project execution, operational excellence, and company-wide strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives and key projects within the supply chain, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely execution.
Support the VP of Supply Chain in defining project priorities, resource allocation, and milestone achievement.
Work closely with leadership to design and implement strategic initiatives. Provide advice to supply chain directors and participate in decision-making forums.
Act as the key link between the Supply Chain function and departments such as Operations, Infrastructure, Transportation, HSE, Security, and Excellence.
Analyze business needs, develop project proposals, business cases, risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Implement lessons learned from completed projects and introduce innovative ideas to continuously improve processes and project outcomes.
Establish project management governance standards, processes, and performance metrics. Maintain project dashboards and deliver timely reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Develop and deliver customized training sessions on project management, change management, and best practices to build team capacity across departments.
Support broader company initiatives by representing the Supply Chain function in cross-departmental projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a PMO role within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Demonstrated experience in coaching teams and developing/delivering training programs.
Proven ability to act as a sparring partner for leadership, providing valuable strategic input and critical thinking.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar project management certification is a strong plus.
Fluency in English; proficiency in German, Polish, Czech, or Russian is an asset.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
