What we’re looking for
The Principal Product Manager drives the design, growth and evolution of strategic digital products in the automotive aftermarket that typically span across the customer journey and across different business and product domains. This role is to:
Define and communicate the vision of a strategic product
Plan the high-level roadmap
Work with Business & Product Domain leads to identify the various work streams that compose the product roadmap and influence its prioritization in the corresponding product development teams
Maintain an aggregated view of the strategic products reporting its evolution and growth
Act as the SPOC for all matters related to the digital dimension of the strategic product
Responsibilities:
Sets success metrics for the products and tracks post-launch metrics.
Researches and defines product vision and strategy.
Ensures the product completeness at its various stages.
Evaluates potential and fitting products for acquisition by AUTODOC.
Develops the strategic product vision and roadmap.
Aligns with Domain Leads the prioritization and development of the strategic product roadmap
Identifies the potential risks to the product's success and develops contingency plans to mitigate them.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience in the Product Management
Has deep knowledge in the appropriate area (car services) and the after-market automotive industry
Ability to build rapport with stakeholders to align around priorities.
A strong understanding of product management principles and methodologies.
Ability to perform extensive market research to determine what type of products consumers need.
Adaptability and flexibility.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
Understands how to lead products to success.
