What we’re looking for

Job Purpose:

As the Total Rewards and Performance Director, you will drive the heartbeat of our organization by shaping and executing our Total Rewards strategies. Your mission is to cultivate an environment where our talent is not only attracted but retained and motivated, fostering a culture of high performance and excellence.

Leveraging your expertise in compensation, benefits, and performance management, you will orchestrate initiatives to ensure our reward programs are not only competitive but also fair and seamlessly aligned with our overarching business objectives. Your strategic decision-making, influential leadership, and trusted advisory capabilities are crucial to guide us toward sustainable growth and success.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in establishing and leading international Total Rewards Teams. Furthermore, we value accountability, and we are seeking an individual who consistently delivers projects that significantly contribute to the business's value proposition. A data-driven approach to decision-making is imperative for success in this role. We are looking for someone who can leverage data insights to inform strategic direction and optimize our total rewards and performance management strategies.

  • Design/drive a comprehensive total rewards philosophy that aligns employee rewards with the organization's values, enabling the org to attract, reward, and keep talent.

  • Provide strategic guidance on pay structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs to drive employee engagement and retention.

  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive in the industry.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within our reward and performance programs.

  • Analyze People data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of our reward and performance initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in total rewards and performance management, incorporating new ideas and innovations into our programs.

  • Work closely with the Chief People Officer on executive and director compensation analysis, program design and preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee.

  • Set and oversee the organization's annual compensation cycle including design of review templates, manager/employee communication and training.

  • Develop a job architecture that effectively defines robust criteria to consistently level roles across the organization using robust survey data and market insights.

  • Ensure compliance with individual countries, federal, state, and local legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining a proactive approach with new and anticipated changes to legislation and regulation.

  • Develop and deliver communications that help our employees understand and appreciate the value of their total compensation, inclusive of benefits, base, bonus, programs.

  • Assess HR systems and determine solutions that can scale with the company which allows for the manager and employee self-service and provides support to the business.

  • Collaborate with HR teams in different regions to ensure consistency and fairness in compensation practices while accounting for local market dynamics.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR teams in different countries on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary negotiations, and promotions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.

  • Extensive knowledge of total compensation and benefit programs with a minimum of 10 years of experience in international companies with demonstrated progression in responsibility.

  • Strong capabilities as a senior leader and manager, with a proactive flexible and inclusive management style.

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing leveling systems and building salary bands in multiple countries or regions.

  • Flexibility and pragmatism and the ability to deal with Ambiguity.

  • Ability to work in collaboration with other senior professionals whose expertise is vital when agreeing strategic plans.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing total rewards and performance management strategies in a complex organization.

  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, including salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Implement leveling systems and build salary bands tailored to the specific needs and regulations of each country in which AUTODOC operates.
