What we’re looking for

In this pivotal role, you will take the helm of the CZ Finance team, orchestrating the comprehensive financial management and accounting operations of Autodoc CZ. Your mission? To guide the local accounting team in alignment with Autodoc group standards, collaborating closely with the local General Manager, Controlling team, and other departments. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring meticulous control over cash flow and addressing daily and monthly business requirements from a finance standpoint.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Czech Finance department, ensuring comprehensive oversight of all financial management and accounting functions.

• Report directly to the Head of International Accounting.

• Provide essential support to the local General Manager in decision-making processes across all company operations, including the preparation of internal reports for the General Manager and other departments.

• Supervise payments and collaborate with banking institutions, maintaining strict control over cash flow and seeking external financing for new investments.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax declarations (including VAT, CIT, National Bank reports, etc.) for submission to external regulatory bodies, and liaise with auditors during the annual Company audit.

• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, leased assets, and inventory.

• Collaborate with insurance brokers to ensure adequate coverage.

• Work closely with Group Accounting to develop accounting policies, chart of accounts, guidelines, procedures, and enhance the ERP system.

• Act as the company's representative during inspections and audits.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in roles such as Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, or Deputy Chief Accountant.

• Proficiency in working with ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft NAV, or Money S3.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting.

• Fluency in Czech and English.

• Strong understanding of local GAAP, IFRS, and tax law.

• Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking ability.

• Highly organized with a strong sense of self-responsibility.

• Certification as a Certified Accountant is a plus.
