Role: Content Translations Manager

“My favorite part of AUTODOC is that I get to challenge myself every day. To be honest, I’ve never felt bored with my routine work, because our multicultural environment allows us to do something truly specific – a place where you can really put your knowledge and effort to good use.”

My role at AUTODOC

My journey with AUTODOC began in Odesa, Ukraine, when I joined in 2016 as a member of our future-leading content team of high-performing professionals. My first major task was to help my manager handle various content projects. Mainly, we decided to build the entire workflow from scratch: from the moment a task was created, we had to dive deep into its essence, discuss every detail with task owners, assign vendors, ensure technical compliance, and finally — deliver the output translations to other teams ASAP… and when I say ASAP, I really mean it.

As AUTODOC grew rapidly into a multilingual car parts store, the need to produce high-quality marketing and technical content at speed to support further growth was, let’s say, a bit intense – yet incredibly interesting. Apart from juggling translation tasks, it became clear we needed more personnel to handle the quickly growing workload, which literally soared, not to mention becoming even more complex due to changing technical requirements. Thus, my humble role as a new Team Leader was to find skilled people united by one goal and maintain a healthy, caring environment within the team while managing increasingly tricky tasks daily. Phew, sounds like a piece of cake, ha? I’m proud of my team because we keep moving forward in line with AUTODOC’s goals while supporting each other through busy periods.

The most challenging part, I think, was when AI gained momentum and we had to completely rework most workflows while delivering large volumes of translated content on time, ensuring no delays in new features, important updates, or content uploads. It wasn’t easy, as we had to do it all on the go. At the same time, we gained invaluable experience transforming our entire content production process. What made it possible was that we all shared one goal and stayed motivated, supporting each other to deliver the best content to our websites and app.

Last but not least, we work with 23 target languages, thanks to our incredible team of Language Specialists! These highly skilled translators and philologists handle a wide range of tasks with expertise, passion, and professionalism.

We truly value their support and it’s thanks to them that we manage around 100 unique projects, collaborate with nearly 200 specialists from other departments, and meet all content needs. What’s more, the AI content share jumped to 23% in 2025, up from just 10% in 2024, an achievement made possible by our teamwork. And of course, we have even more plans and exciting tech developments ahead!

My favorite part of the AUTODOC journey is that I get to challenge myself every day. To be honest, I’ve never felt bored with my routine work, because our multicultural environment allows us to do something truly specific – a place where you can really put your knowledge and effort to good use.

I’m proud of my team because we keep moving forward in line with AUTODOC’s goals while supporting each other through busy periods. For nearly 10 years, our Ukrainian team has evolved from 2 to almost 20 people – Content Coordinators who aspire to invent the quickest yet most efficient processes to generate relevant, user-friendly content so that our customers can quicly order any car part they need or replace brake discs, filters, spark plugs, or shafts themselves thanks to our step-by-step technical guidelines.

Speaking of a pivotal moment at AUTODOC, it came when I was appointed as a Content Coordinators Manager, which I feel truly honored and grateful for. In this role, I’ve had a great opportunity to handle operational tasks, along with taking part in strategic planning – and that’s a completely different story. Suddenly, you get the chance not only to take a helicopter view of how the department should be managed, but also to think outside the box and stay one step ahead, especially when tasks need to be completed quickly and you do your best not to fail.

As a result, I’m constantly learning how to cooperate efficiently with my team, navigate the ocean of tasks, plan and distribute the workload evenly, support my colleagues, and find that sweet work-life balance — which, I guess, is all about growing up, or simply getting older.
