What we’re looking for
We are a dynamic, global Communications Team in Berlin, looking for an experienced and passionate PR & Communications Manager with a strong interest in the automotive market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies and public relations initiatives to support our expanding business and B2B service, AUTODOC PRO, which launched in France in late 2022. The PR & Communications Manager will develop and execute effective communication strategies to enhance and expand our media presence while working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including Country Managers and the Management Board, and manage relationships with external agencies.
Responsibilities:
Define, plan, and implement PR initiatives focused on AUTODOC PRO, aiming to increase brand awareness and enhance the company’s image.
Manage all aspects of PR activities, including conducting research, writing press releases, handling media inquiries, and monitoring media coverage.
Oversee crisis communications by developing thematic Q&A catalogues, drafting reactive press statements, and crafting internal communication messages.
Manage and create content for communication platforms, such as the company website and LinkedIn.
Provide communication support to other departments, including Brand, Finance, and Legal, for various initiatives.
Organize and manage press conferences and coordinate press activities at corporate events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Media, Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 4-5 years of professional experience in PR, Communications, or Journalism.
Excellent writing and communication skills in German and English; fluency in French is a significant advantage.
Knowledge of Germany’s media landscape; media experience in other European countries, especially France, is a plus.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for corporate and consumer topics, particularly in the automotive and mobility sectors.
Practical experience in a fast-paced, international work environment, such as a start-up, tech company, or agency.
Proven experience in managing service providers and executing high-quality content quickly.
A team-oriented strategist with a proactive, hands-on mentality and the ability to adapt to new tasks and topics.
Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating PR campaigns, on the agency and/or corporate side.
Proficiency in digital and traditional storytelling for B2B and B2C audiences.
Ability to handle KPIs and use common success measurement tools.
Strong conceptual and presentation skills.
