New Vice President Accounting, Reporting & Tax at AUTODOC

Berlin, 2 November 2023 – AUTODOC, a leading online retailer of automotive parts and accessories in Europe, is strengthening its finance department and has appointed Christian Klein as Vice President Accounting, Reporting & Tax.

At AUTODOC, Klein will be responsible for a team of more than 80 employees at six locations and will report directly to CFO Lennart Schmidt: “With Christian, we were able to gain an extremely experienced accounting and tax expert, which we are very pleased about. We trust that he will optimise and further develop the automation and digitalisation of our financial processes and structures,” says AUTODOC CFO Lennart Schmidt.

The 41-year-old comes to us from the Tele Columbus Group in Berlin, a leading fibre optic network operator in the telecommunications industry, where he worked for five years as the Accounting & Tax Director and in-house tax advisor. In this role, he also worked for four years at home24 SE in Berlin, one of the leading e-commerce providers for home & living products, and was involved in the IPO there. Before that he was Operations Manager for auditing and audit-related consulting at PwC, Frankfurt am Main in the Industrial Services division from 2009 to 2014. The business administration graduate completed his studies at Saarland University in 2008 and has been a tax advisor since 2016.
