AUTODOC appoints Lennart Schmidt as CFO

Lennart Schmidt takes over the position of CFO at AUTODOC

Berlin, 02 February 2023 – AUTODOC, a leading online retailer of vehicle spare parts and accessories in Europe, has promoted Lennart Schmidt to the new position of Chief Financial Officer. Before this he had spent a year as Vice President Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis and Treasury, a key finance position in the company. As CFO, he moves up to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) of AUTODOC.

In his new role as CFO, the 37-year-old will be in charge of the finance division and report directly to Co-CEO Sandra Dax: “Lennart knows the company very well and is the right person to continuously develop our finance division and handle the diverse requirements of a growth-oriented company. We’re glad we were able to fill this important position with an internal manager,” says Dax. The new CFO succeeds the previous CFO Bert Althaus, who resigned at the end of 2022.

Before joining AUTODOC in January 2022, Schmidt spent two years as Head of Digital Finance at SEAT S.A. in Barcelona. Prior to that, he was responsible for investor relationsfor the Volkswagen Group in the Asia-Pacific region.
