My growth journey with AUTODOC

I joined AUTODOC in early 2022 after more than a decade in the traditional automotive world, from Wolfsburg to Beijing, Barcelona and back to Germany. Coming from established giants like Volkswagen and SEAT, my first day here felt like the right next step.

My path at AUTODOC, starting with Treasury, Investor Relations and FP&A before becoming CFO, has been about enabling our rapid growth paired with the right financial oversight. During my first days as the CFO, I knew my mission was to take the company’s raw energy and build a rock-solid financial and strategic foundation and to transform it into the right stories to explain our operational and financial success to all different stakeholders.

As the CFO, my role isn’t just about managing numbers; it’s about translating our operational momentum into long-term financial health and strategic stability and steering AUTODOC onto future successes together with Dima and all AUTODOCers. AUTODOCers are really the backbone of our success. Without their drive for excellence, the numbers wouldn’t add up and the financial health and strategic stability we rely on wouldn’t exist.

Whether it’s a developer optimising an algorithm or a logistics specialist perfecting a process, our success is a product of the collective talent and precision of our people. The dedication of all our teammates is what turns our strategy into reality. To the customer, it’s just a click, but behind that click is a masterpiece of logistics, finance, technology and so many other teams.

I feel particularly proud of our Finance professionals who act as our navigation system and ensure we scale safely and sustainably. The Finance function sits at the intersection of all these moving parts, mastering the immense complexity of our cross-border business and managing global volatility. Seeing how we turn massive operational data into clear, strategic guardrails is what makes me truly proud to be here.

Looking toward the next few years, my focus is on disciplined growth. It’s not only about moving fast, but it’s also about moving smart. My commitment is to ensure we manage our resources with the discipline required to keep innovating, even in volatile markets. The best is yet to come!
