Berlin, 26 February 2026 – Autodoc SE, the leading online retailer of vehicle spare parts and accessories in Europe, has officially launched its AUTODOC MARKETPLACE in the United Kingdom. This strategic expansion follows successful rollouts across several European markets and marks a significant increase in the selection and speed of delivery for British car enthusiasts and professionals. “Bringing the AUTODOC MARKETPLACE to the United Kingdom is a pivotal moment for our market expansion strategy,” says Dmitri Zadorojnii, CEO of AUTODOC. “The UK has one of the most sophisticated automotive cultures in the world. By integrating local sellers into our platform, we are not just expanding our assortment—we are building the go-to platform for vehicle parts and accessories that connects millions of drivers in Europe with the exact solutions they need, from essential spare parts to lifestyle accessories.” By opening the platform to selected professional sellers in the UK, AUTODOC is dramatically increasing its local product range potential, offering British customers more competitive pricing and delivery times, and a wider variety of specialised categories.
The AUTODOC MARKETPLACE enables carefully selected sellers to offer their products directly via the AUTODOC website and app. Customers benefit from the same seamless shopping experience they know from AUTODOC—now with access to an even broader and more diverse product assortment that goes beyond traditional vehicle spare parts. New categories include vehicle electronics, accessories, lifestyle items, mobility solutions and security products. “Our goal is to provide a dedicated alternative to generic online retail stores,” Zadorojnii explains. “British customers now have a one-stop shop where every listing is curated for the automotive context, backed by the data and expertise that AUTODOC is known for.”
The AUTODOC MARKETPLACE is now live in ten European countries, including Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and now the United Kingdom. Lennart Schmidt, CFO of AUTODOC, highlights the economic importance of the move: “The UK is a cornerstone of the European automotive sector. This rollout allows us to scale our infrastructure efficiently while empowering local businesses to reach a massive, highly engaged audience. It is a win-win for the British sellers and our digital growth trajectory.”
Throughout 2025, the AUTODOC MARKETPLACE generated more than 190,000 orders. “The platform’s first-year success confirms that our strategic alignment is on the right track,” Schmidt says. Furthermore, the AUTODOC MARKETPLACE ended the year with around 440 registered sellers, reflecting significant market interest in the platform. Overall, the marketplace achieved rapid quarterly growth across all key metrics, ending the year with a live assortment of 1.2 million offers.
Customers can shop both AUTODOC’s own products and those from qualified third-party sellers, with full transparency and convenience. While AUTODOC is responsible for shipping, invoicing and customer service for its own items, marketplace sellers handle those aspects independently for the products they sell on the AUTODOC platform. To ensure a consistent and reliable customer experience, all marketplace sellers are subject to clearly defined performance metrics and service-level agreements. As is standard in a marketplace environment, first-line customer support is handled by the sellers. However, AUTODOC actively monitors seller performance and steps in when needed—especially in cases when a customer does not receive sufficient support. This approach enables a broader product offering without compromising quality or service.
AUTODOC is the leading digital pure-play automotive parts platform in Europe. The business, which was founded in Berlin in 2008 by Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner and Vitalij Kungel, has developed into one of the most exciting E-Commerce companies in Europe in a remarkably short period. Since November 2022, the Company has been operating as the European corporation Autodoc SE. The Management Board consists of Dmitri Zadorojnii (CEO) and Lennart Schmidt (CFO). As of 31 December 2025, AUTODOC’s product assortment comprises around 7.8 million SKUs from around 2,700 brand manufacturers – including car, truck and motorcycle parts, tires as well as adjacent products such as tools, accessories, oils, liquids and consumables – and has significantly increased over time.
