My role at AUTODOC

I joined AUTODOC in June 2019, a 19-year-old student fresh from my third year of university, with more dreams than experience. I began as a contact center operator for the Italian market, later I moved to the Learning & Development team, where I trained CC operators and supervisors (soft and hard skills trainings) and played a role in shaping our global onboarding journey. Each role added a new layer to my growth.

Today I’m a Project Manager in the Information Security team, working hand in hand with Security Operations and Security Engineering. My days are a rhythm of coordination and curiosity – aligning teams, driving initiatives like Zero Trust and bridging worlds between tech and people. I collaborate with different teams such as Developers, DevOps, System Administrators and others to make sure every detail aligns securely. I coordinate with Cloudflare, assist users in overcoming technical hurdles and continuously deepen my understanding of the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity. Though I don’t come from a technical background, every day brings a fresh challenge, and with the help of my brilliant colleagues, I’m constantly learning. With every issue I help resolve, I uncover a little more of the unknown – reminding me how much room I have to grow and how lucky I’m to do it here, surrounded by those who inspire and support me.

My journey at AUTODOC has been shaped by challenges that pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow in ways I never expected. I started without any work experience and gradually stepped into complex responsibilities. There were moments of uncertainty, especially when dealing with technical topics I had never faced before. But with the support of my colleagues, I stayed curious, kept learning and turned every challenge into a stepping stone

This experience taught me that growth isn’t always easy – it often comes through resilience. And thanks to AUTODOC, I’ve learned to stay steady in the face of the unknown while continuing to move forward. That combination has defined not only my professional development, but also my personal confidence and mindset.

When I received the job offer from AUTODOC, I didn’t know much about the company and I wasn’t even searching for a job at the time. I still remember writing to my friend after the recruiter called me and her reaction was: “Are you serious? You don’t know AUTODOC?”. At that time in my life, I was going through a personally challenging period and that unexpected phone call felt like a small spark of something new. What truly inspired and encouraged me was that the company wasn’t discouraged by my complete lack of work experience – instead, they were ready to teach me everything from scratch. That trust and openness meant a lot to me and gave me the confidence to take the first step into the professional world.
