My role at AUTODOC
I joined AUTODOC with my previous experience from Amazon, where I worked closely with Sellers joining and growing on a large Marketplace. When I arrived, AUTODOC was at the very beginning of its Marketplace journey, transitioning from a pure retail model to a hybrid model in order to expand faster into new categories and markets.
In the early phase, I worked in a very hands-on, startup-like environment. As part of the small Marketplace team, I helped build the Marketplace from scratch, from choosing the technical solution to coordinating with Tech, Legal, Compliance, and Tax teams to ensure a solid and compliant launch. Later on, my role evolved into leading a team of Account Managers responsible for recruiting and supporting Sellers across multiple countries.
Over the past few months, my responsibilities expanded further as I stepped up to cover a large part of the Marketplace leadership role. Today, in addition to leading my team, I also represent and advocate for the Marketplace internally, contribute to strategic discussions, and help ensure that the Marketplace grows in alignment with AUTODOC’s overall business strategy.

In my current role, I’m proud of the impact we’ve had in expanding the AUTODOC Marketplace into multiple countries. For instance, in 2025 alone, we launched the Marketplace in nine new countries, significantly broadening our reach and bringing more diverse product offerings to our Customers. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the tangible results of our efforts, whether it’s competitive pricing, improved inventory availability, or faster delivery times. It’s all about creating a better experience for our Customers and contributing to AUTODOC’s growth.
What I enjoy most is definitely the team dynamics and the collaborative spirit we have, even in a fully remote environment. While we don’t see each other daily in an office, we still maintain strong connections through Slack, Google Meet, and occasional in-person meetups in Lisbon. I also appreciate how dedicated everyone is across different departments, and how open they are to feedback and continuous improvement. This startup-like atmosphere means I get to wear many hats and learn across various domains, making each day exciting and fulfilling.
